B2B Sales Manager – East Region

Dropit is an end-to-end hands-free shopping platform for malls. By using our service, shoppers no longer need to carry their bags around the site, they simply scan their bags and drop them in one of our many partner stores. They then continue to shop to their hearts content whilst enjoying everything else that the site and area has to offer without carrying any shopping bags!

We integrate multiple technology platforms to create a seamless network between consumers, retailers, shopping malls and logistics companies; meaning shoppers can collect their bags at the end of their day or have them delivered to their home or hotel at a time of their choosing.

We are looking to hire B2B Sales Managers based in New York out of one of our partner malls. The B2B Sales Manager is an essential figure in getting stores on-site to sign up to having the Dropit service. The role requires a very hands-on approach. This individual will bring extensive B2B relationship sales experience and will have the ability to drive full sales cycle results.

Working closely with the B2B Site Sales Manager, the B2B Sales Manager will have primary responsibility for signing up new retailer partners. Thereafter this role also has responsibility for creating new sales relationships with (but not limited to) hotels, tour groups and other tourism channels as and where appropriate. The roles will be based on site on a day to day basis and will focus on one or two sites.

  • Full Sales cycle responsibility for signing up new retailers to offer the Dropit service.
  • After securing a minimum of 75% of a sites retailer prior to launching the service on site the focus will spread to building local networks including (but not exhaustive), Hotels, Local Businesses, Tourism Agencies.
  • Strong B2B experience and a hungry sales attitude is essential.
  • Professionally communicating key information to the Leadership team.
  • Working with the leadership team to develop implementation processes and project plans.
  • Proactive resolution of all project issues across your accounts, taking corrective action when appropriate.
  • Instilling an ‘always forward’ approach across the business with BEST IN CLASS performance
  • The B2B Area Sales Manager role interfaces daily with all disciplines within Dropit
  • These positions are based in various mall locations and may expand as we add to our portfolios in the US.


  • 3+ years of B2B sales/retail industry related experience preferred
  • Highly motivated and target driven to reach and exceed targets.
  • Knowledge of the retail landscape for the particular area is an advantage
  • Excellent client facing and negotiation skills
  • Effective leadership / team and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of and confidence in dealing with contract negotiation
  • High focus on detail, quality and execution – but always within the context of the business’s required deliverables and broader objectives
  • Problem solving and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, including written English, verbal presentation skills and PowerPoint presentations.

Other languages are an advantage
